Frequently Asked Questions

Get answers to common questions about Chest Wax.

Typically results last about three to six weeks, depending on individual hair growth cycles, hormones, and lifestyle. Regular waxing often extends smoothness and can slow regrowth over time. Touch-ups are available to maintain results between appointments.

No—waxing removes hair at the root and does not make follicles thicker. Regrowth may feel coarser at first, but with regular waxing hair often appears finer, sparser, and softer over multiple sessions.

Some discomfort is normal, especially during your first Chest Wax. We use premium wax, fast technique, and pre/post care to minimize pain. Over time, regular waxing typically lessens sensitivity and improves comfort.

Trim overly long hair to about a quarter-inch, avoid heavy tanning, and gently exfoliate 24 hours before. Arrive clean and lotion-free; tell us about any allergies or skin sensitivities before treatment.

Wait at least twelve to twenty-four hours before hot showers, saunas, or intense exercise. Use lukewarm water and a gentle cleanser if necessary, and avoid scrubbing or exfoliating immediately to reduce irritation.

Always tell us about medications and skin conditions during booking. Certain drugs (retinoids, blood thinners) or recent dermatological treatments increase sensitivity or bleeding risk; we may perform a patch test or recommend alternatives.
